COMMUNITY PARTNERSHPS

The sole purpose of the Las Cruces Public Schools Foundation is to support and enhance the educational experience of students, promote innovation in the classroom, increase involvement in education and pursue and recognize excellence in teaching and learning Las Cruces Public Schools. The Foundation has done so since it’s inception in 1998. The Board of Directors is honored to work collaboratively with District Personnel and to have some serve on the Board.

Nusenda Credit Union has supported the LCPS Foundation through grants and sponsorships. For the past two years Nusenda has provided an annual donation to be used to support teachers, staff and students. The funds provided this year will support Innovative Teaching Grants, Employee Recognition and Dress for Success.

Century Bank has supported LCPS Foundation through decades of Celebration of Excellence Dinner Sponsorships. Their sustained giving has allowed the LCPS Foundation to support the LCPS District in recognizing the Teacher of the Year, Educational Support Person of the Year and they have sponsored the Principal of the Year monetary gift.

Mountain View Regional Medical Center generously supports the Foundations efforts with an annual Celebration of Excellence Sponsorship.

Citizens Bank has supported LCPS for over 10 years by providing $.05 per debit card transaction marked for specific high schools or the LCPS Foundation. Get your debit card today!

The LCPS Foundation has collaborated with local hospitals and Walmart Supercenters to collect personal hygiene products for high school students in need. Memorial Medical Center surpasses our expectations every year to ensure the collection is successful.

Look for the 2024 Care Kits for Kids Drive to kick off October 14 with a final collection on November 2. This year we are also excited to partner with NMSU Collegiate 4-H.

Monthly our Trivia Nights are hosted at The Game II at 4131 Northrise. The staff is always accommodating and the atmosphere is perfect. Join us for the next Trivia Night (2nd Wednesday of most months at 6:30)

First, thank you for supporting my classroom! For being a first year teacher it has been difficult to get the supplies I need. By your generous donation I was able to get a much needed easel for my students and I to use for writing. I could not be more thankful for the opportunity and donation
