COMMUNITY PARTNERSHPS

The sole purpose of the Las Cruces Public Schools Foundation is to support and enhance the educational experience of students, promote innovation in the classroom, increase involvement in education and pursue and recognize excellence in teaching and learning Las Cruces Public Schools. The Foundation has done so since it’s inception in 1998. The Board of Directors is honored to work collaboratively with District Personnel and to have some serve on the Board.

Century Bank has supported LCPS Foundation through decades of Celebration of Excellence Dinner Sponsorships. Their sustained giving has allowed the LCPS Foundation to support the LCPS District in recognizing the Teacher of the Year and Support Staff Member of the Year.

Mountain View Regional Medical Center generously supports the Foundations efforts with an annual Celebration of Excellence Sponsorship.

In the fall of 2022 the LCPS Foundation collaborated with local hospitals to collect personal hygiene for LCPS high school students. The necessary items and monetary donations came in droves! We were able to provide an ample stock to all high school closets. Memorial Medical Center went above and beyond in ensuring the collection was successful.

First, thank you for supporting my classroom! For being a first year teacher it has been difficult to get the supplies I need. By your generous donation I was able to get a much needed easel for my students and I to use for writing. I could not be more thankful for the opportunity and donation
