The LCPS Foundation supports programs and activities that actively support the organization’s mission and vision. If you are a teacher, administrator or counselor and find that you are in need of funds out-side of our Innovative Teaching Grant application window you may apply for an Off-Cycle Grant. Applications will be reviewed by our Allocations Committee who then make a recommendation to our Board of Directors. The LCPS Foundation does not fund: National Health Organizations and their local affiliates, sponsorship of fundraising events, sports teams or athletic events, individual travel expenses, salaries or wages to individuals or groups, private schools, continuing education for teachers and staff, or multi-year requests.
The Nusenda Foundation awarded the LCPS Foundation a $7,500 grant through their Community Rewards Program in the fall of 2021. Thank you Nusenda!
The Nusenda Foundation’s mission is to create stronger communities where their members live and work through collaborative partnership and by investing in innovative solutions to improve education, health, social and economic outcomes. The LCPS Foundation will assist in achieving their vision by providing their granted funds for Off-Cycle Grants (spring semester of the 2021 – 2022 school year). This will allow for Las Cruces Public School Teachers and Administrators to apply for monies to be used for Innovative Classroom Teaching Projects and other initiatives.
